Where I Hope To Be When It Is All Said And Done

March 28, 2011

As todays blend into yesterdays
The sun expands into outer space
As the grass twinkles from the morning rain
The flowers bend to catch some rays

Your brain begins to spring and spark
And your shadow hides from the dark
As meteors begin to shower the sky
A child is born and an old man dies

As the dam reaches it’s breaking point
Your brain was never a classy joint
Whales will breach to catch a breath
The ocean holds beds of death

In a place beneath the mountain mist
Where deer prance and Bigfoot does exist
Where angels go to live and pray
As today blends into yesterday

Where the dark clouds begin to part
Where His hands created every start
Where in your heart you don’t deserve
Anything from the Mighty Lord

Where God begins to mold the clay
Where He creates the Earth in seven days
That’s where I hope to fly
Where life begins and good souls reside.

The Lowly Man’s Conversation With The Wise Saint Peter

March 23, 2011

There once was a lowly man
Who gave Saint Peter a yell
“How come she goes to heaven
And I go to Hell?”

Saint Peter looked at him
And took pity on the lowly man
“Take a long look at yourself
You see where you stand?”

“If you were honest with yourself
You’d know you ain’t got the stuff.
She’s glorious and beautiful
And you ain’t pretty enough.”

The lowly man lowered his gaze
His ugly heart stopped it’s beat
His demons came to conquer him
His soul laying at their feet

Saint Peter looked at the man
And said “It’s God that you should fear.
I’m sorry for your appearance, son
But the ugly aint let in here.”

The Tale of Old Mr. Shame and Young Boy Regret

March 14, 2011

The sky is bloody red the field is a blaze
The ships have run aground, no waters in the bays
The winds have begun to blow whistling through the trees
No one is safe from the mighty vengeance of the angry waves

You’re dotting your “T”s and you’re crossing your eyes
The dumb are done and gone next up are the wise
Run while you can the reactors are about to blow
Armageddon has arrived fate sits back to watch the show

Try to save your money but here’s a little hint
The stress will kill you when your dollar’s not worth a cent
No hope for the islands the volcanos shall erupt
People will riot the streets as the government becomes corrupt

It can’t be that time yet I have too many goals
Then the earth opens up and swallows me whole
The strong will consume the weak the fit shall survive
So work out now so you don’t have to fight to stay alive

My heart will harm me shame shall end my light
Regret will show its ugly face and darken my night
I blame no one it is I who has failed
Forgiveness was something I could never give myself

Forgive me Father, for all that I have done
For hating when I hated not loving when I should
Swept out to the ocean a wall of Hell crashing toward me
Oh Father Oh Father won’t you calm my stormy seas….

How Villains Come To Be

March 11, 2011

We all wish to be heroes, saving those innocent and weak
We all want that courage to stand up and speak
Perhaps I am wishing for something that can never be
Even with the help of Mighty God I am always me
I can’t see it but I can sense it in the air
Say goodbye to innocence and to those who care

Is it too much to ask for that I could do something right?
I thought I was a hero, but I’m a villain in the light
A villain they want, a villain I shall become
You cannot love the unlovable, it is said by some
I am that ship at sea, lost in the gulf
If this is a fairy tale then I’m the big bad wolf

With a huff and a puff I’ll blow all your houses down
I will laugh maniachally, my sins I am bound
I will destroy the innocent, I will push the world to gloom
As heroes try to stop me I shall send them to their doom.

Superman was strong until I shot him with kryptonite
The Batman tried to stop me, but I stabbed the Black Knight
It’s not my fault, it was the world that wasn’t fair
I shall clinch my fists as I sit alone in my lair

Some would say they love me, but that was a lie
And that shall be returned, an eye for an eye
Finally I knew why, it just took me a while to see
There are no heroes, only villains of various degrees.
