He wishes he was little
When all his nightmares were about monsters
And they didn’t seem as real

He wishes he was small
When his worries were about missing cartoons
And they didn’t seem that important

He wishes he was younger
When he thought he could be anything
And not what he couldn’t be

He didn’t want to grow up
But he did
